On 15 April, the Crowne Plaza Bucharest hosted the fourth edition of Forbes Romania Cityscapes, which brought together real estate leaders, developers, investors and consultants to examine the directions in which Romania's property market is heading.
Market perspectives: offices, logistics, residential
The discussions covered the market's main segments: flexible office space, rising demand in logistics and new trends in the residential sector, shaped by the need for sustainability and energy efficiency.
Yoda Home Design took part in Cityscapes as a Forbes Romania Partner, to keep up to date with the latest trends in real estate and interior design. We want to bring these innovative ideas into our projects and offer our clients up-to-date, personalised solutions that keep pace with the market.

David Aron – Plans for tourism and strategic investment
David Aron, CEO of Rivaz Hotel & Alpin, spoke about investments in the Călimănești-Căciulata area and the launch of a new 4-star hotel. The projects aim both to revitalise spa tourism and to bring in modern technologies for energy efficiency.
Urban regeneration and integrated communities
An important item on the agenda was the development of mixed-use projects combining residential, retail and leisure functions. The focus was on regenerating under-used urban areas and creating sustainable, well-connected communities.
Sustainability and green finance
There was growing discussion about accessing green finance and building ESG principles into project development. Banks and investors are turning their attention to projects that deliver long-term value and meet environmental and governance criteria.
Technology and digitalisation in construction
Participants stressed the importance of digitalisation in real estate: from BIM modelling and process automation to smart home solutions and lower maintenance costs. Technology is becoming an essential pillar in the evolution of the property sector.
Challenges and strategic directions
Key topics included planning regulations, ESG challenges, the lack of tax predictability and the impact of technology on how property projects are developed. The emphasis was on adaptability and sustainable planning.
Forbes Cityscapes Awards Gala
The event closed with the Forbes Cityscapes Awards gala, which honoured the companies and projects with a major impact on urban development: developers, sustainability initiatives, urban regeneration projects and innovations in construction.
